Our house hunting journey started with Hope. I’m not talking about the feeling of hope (which was difficult to conjure in the 2021/22 housing market), I’m talking about Hope Mazzola, or “Saint Hope” as I often referred to her as. It began with an email from her with a link to the house of our dreams, a needle in a haystack if you will. The current housing market is not favorable to buyers but if you have someone on your side who will fight for you to make sure you get the house you want, Hope is the one to make those dreams come true. We were up against multiple offers and Hope was determined to work with the seller's agent to offer the best deal while ensuring we don’t pay more than we should. Once our offer was accepted, we faced another pitfall of the seller needing to finish work at the house before we can sign the contract. With a pending rise in interest rates along with a baby on …

We were up against multiple offers and Hope was determined to work with the seller's agent to offer the best deal while ensuring we don’t pay more than we should. Once our offer was accepted, we faced another pitfall of the seller needing to finish work at the house before we can sign the contract. With a pending rise in interest rates along with a baby on the way, we were up against the clock. Hope pulled out all the stops, reached out to her contacts, flexed her negotiating skills, and got us the keys to our new house in a timely manner. She made herself available to us as if she had no other clients, which was far from the truth. If you are lucky enough to work with Hope, you know you will have an agent that has your best interest at heart. Someone who doesn’t stop working for you - even after the closing. She has been an invaluable resource for anything home-related and helped us (former city-dwellers) get situated and settled into our new home with ease, and even prepared a beautiful "welcome home" gift package for us. I can’t say enough good things about Hope, but will end it with the following statement: There is no way my husband and I would have gotten our house without Hope. She is a saint!
Hope was my listing agent. Why? My son had a very difficult time selling his house with two different agents prior to turning the task over to Hope. In his words "You're crazy and wasting your time if you don't go with Hope!" Without all the details, from our first meeting to her gathering all the necessary documents to create a viable listing took two days. Another two days and the listing would have been online, except I wasn't ready. Hope kept me on task and the listing went online before the next weekend. I deferred to her expertise on the listing price. I believe we had the first open house within 10 days of our first meeting. Hope said we'll sell your house this weekend. I had an offer the evening of the first open house She was right! The offer was a very reasonable amount below the listing and I was happy! Not Hope! She negotiated a split the difference and the deal was done. It'…

Hope should have been named "Treasure", she is just that! Right from the get-go she was more prepared than other agents we interviewed and her 'can do' attitude was obvious and infectious. She priced the unit (with good background information to support the price) well; she quickly lined up a photographer; got the unit listed on MLS a day after the photo shoot; had an open house two days later and we had an acceptable offer the evening of the open house. So, maybe "Speedy, Efficient, Pleasant, Accessible" could be suitable choices for her middle name? This property was listed and ultimately closed on within a month - perfect for this out-of-state couple wanting to sell our second home. And, as if all that were not enough, she utilized social media to help us get some large pieces of furniture sold. Who could ask for anyone more equipped to handle a sale? Hope is everything we were looking for in a real estate agent. She worked with us for years to find our forever home. She made herself available as we teetered back and forth with selling our first house, and we never felt any pressure from her to make a certain decision (as some other agents had done). Her knowledge of the true value of properties in each part of town was spot-on, and her experience with the process of buying and selling was invaluable. If she didn’t know something about a property, she figured it out for us quickly. If we called or emailed, she responded thoroughly and immediately. She listened to all the details of what we wanted, and she told it how it was. If you’re looking to buy or sell, you’ve gotta have Hope!
Hope has dedicated the last 22 years to honing her craft and knowing the current state of the real estate industry inside and out. There is a reason why Hope has stacked up accolades year after year but what does that mean for YOU? Hope is connected, respected, and working harder now than ever before to ensure a successful and amazing real estate experience. Here is the best advice:
